Peter Staz

Entrepreneur and Urban Developer, Peter Staz has over 20 years of experience in real estate. He has expertise in real estate development including ground up construction, property rehabilitation, re-positioning, and financing projects. Staz is skilled at originating, underwriting, executing and managing a variety of real estate transactions.

He co-founded Great Oak Capital, in 2001, which is a financial services company and owner and developer of investment real estate. In 2012 he founded Core Development with Peter Spain. Staz has developed both market rate and student housing projects, which a number of these transactions include private-public partnerships with ground lease arrangements. The company, its partners, and affiliates have been principals in over $100 million worth of real estate projects. Staz graduated from Ursinus College and earned his M.B.A. at Penn State Great Valley.
